The Big Date...

I'm meeting a very nice man for our first date tonight...I think I'm good with that. I don't know...I am used to doing things my way...
Do I really want to share my life with someone? There was a time and place when that was exactly what I wanted, now I'm not so sure..
I have a full life, and I am far from lonely...do I want to take the extra step and make the time for a man in my life? Time will tell...I guess. Maybe when we look into each others eyes, I will think it is meant to be..
We have exchanged over 200 emails...I have checked him out, and he's not Jack the Ripper. This one seems so kind and considerate..
Last year, I spent the year with a loser with a Master's degree...what a fiasco! I thought that because he was a Social Worker, he had ethics and values...NOT! I had decided to get to know someone completely opposite to the men that I had previously had relationships
(over the last 10 yrs. of being single). So I overlooked that he was bald..overlooked that he had a huge belly, and he must have been standing behind the door when the manhood was passed out...it was sad, grotesque, and unmanly. Ah...but being the rescuer that I try not to be...I took pity. The drive was there, but the equipment wasn't. Anyway...he lived way over there in Bishop and we saw each other when we could...I thought he was kind because (see occupation)...he cared for an elderly lady that lived there in Bishop....NOT...he had a long term relationship is what he had, and she was as elderly as he was...sooner or later the snakes get caught, they slither in the sunlight for too long, and they are spotted. It was a hard lesson to learn....now here I go on a first date. He doesn't have a Master's degree and he works in Plumbing...and he is damn cute! Time will tell...

What an interesting little site this is...
I just stumbled across it, and thought it would be fun to do. Not that I have anything earth changing to say, but maybe some small insights to me and my family and friends.
So...here goes!
